The New York Power Authority (NYPA) Board of Trustees on Tuesday voted Sept. 27th to end the competitive solicitation process for the proposed Great Lakes Offshore Wind Project (GLOW), without awarding a contract for project development.
Eye tests no longer required for driver license renewals

The NYS Department of Motor Vehicles has announced that beginning on Sept. 28th, the current license renewal process will be streamlined to allow customers to self-certify that they meet the vision requirement necessary to drive as they currently do for other medical issues.

Governor Cuomo announces $2.4 million flood recovery aid to New York farms

Cuomo announces $2.4 million from the state's Agricultural and Community Recovery Fund (ACRF) will be distributed to 125 farms to help New York's agricultural communities recover from Hurricane Irene and Tropical Storm Lee. Governor Cuomo made the announcement at the John Glebocki Farm in Goshen, New York, which sustained major flood damage.
